Just got back home from Europe and this tour was definitely one of my highlights. I went by myself while my friend was working in Paris. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was excellent. The tour guide was great and the scenery was a amazing. The bike ride itself is not that strenuous but decent. I'm guessing about 4 to 5 miles at a relaxed pace. Made some great new friends. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed this tour and recommend it. The tour guide was friendly and entertaining and Monet's house, garden and lily pond were absolutely beautiful. An excellent day!

I had such a great time on this tour. It was very informative and the other group members were very friendly. I liked the whole concept of buying our own picnic items from a local market, it really forced me to use my basic French! The guide was awesome as well, very personable, smart and seemed to go out of his way to make our trip perfect! Thanks!

Amazing day!! This was by far the highlight of our trip. The train ride from Paris to Vernon was about 40 minutes. You ride through the countryside and pass the winding Seine River a few times. Dave was an awesome guide who entertained us with interesting and funny stories of Monet along the way on the train ride and through the town of Vernon. He made us feel like we stepped back into Monet's world.

We walked a short walk to pick up the bikes. The bikes are great and very easy to ride. You do not have to be an avid athlete to ride them.

We rode through the town a short way to the market. It was very nice full of fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, olives, and more. We split up to buy our lunches (and dessert :) and met back at the bikes to ride over to the picnic area along the Seine River. It's everything in the pictures but even more amazing in person.

After enjoying our lunch and some more stories about Monet we were fueled to ride to his gardens. We rode along the old railroad tracks (now paved) which was along side beautiful grape seed fields. The colors were magnificent. The ride is not a difficult one. You can go at your own pace and even stop to take photos.

We arrived in Giverny and had ample time to spend in Monet's beautiful gardens. It's like stepping into one of his paintings. You even get to walk through his home that is restored and looks exactly like it did in pictures from the past. It's truly a memorable experience.

I highly recommend this tour - I can't wait to so it again!
